Quality is a production decision
You cannot inspect quality into compost at the packing stage. It is set by what enters the yard, how long the bed is left, and whether anyone is willing to hold a batch back.
Six controls that decide the batch
Raw material selection
Only identified agricultural and agro-processing residues are accepted. Loads are inspected on arrival and logged by source; contaminated material is turned away.
Pre-composting discipline
Residue is stabilised before it reaches a worm bed. Feeding fresh material directly to worms is the single most common cause of failed batches.
Bed conditions
Moisture, shade and feeding rate are managed through the processing cycle, because worm activity, not time alone, determines how the material turns out.
Maturity before harvest
A bed is lifted when the castings have darkened, the odour is earthy and turning produces no heat. Order pressure does not override that.
Screening
Every batch is sieved before packing. Worms and cocoons return to production; oversize and stone are removed; the grade comes out even.
Packing standards
Packed from screened stock only, to consistent pack weights, in sealed and labelled bags. Loose bulk is kept separate from packed inventory.
What we will and will not claim
We publish only what we hold and can produce on request. Registration numbers, batch analyses and consignment documentation are shared with commercial buyers as a matter of course rather than on demand.

Circular by construction, not by campaign
Our sustainability case is structural rather than promotional: the business exists because organic residue has somewhere better to go than a burn pile, and because soil that holds more carbon needs fewer inputs.
Residue diverted
Crop and agro-processing residue that would commonly be burned or dumped is converted into a usable farm input instead.
Carbon returned to soil
Every tonne applied puts stable organic matter back into farmland that has been drawing it down for decades.
Lower input dependence
Soils with better structure and cycling capacity get more out of what is applied, which over time means less of it.
Local supply loops
Sourcing residue and supplying compost within reachable distance keeps freight and its footprint proportionate.
